For the Perido Asher Mid, we've crafted an ankle boot with a moc-toe front and a four-eyelet lace-up closure. A leather lining and a supportive leather insole deliver comfort from the first wear. The leather laces give this boot its character, a clear nod to the iconic heritage boots that shaped Blackstone's DNA. A stitched welt and our colour-matched rubber sole with its zigzag tread complete the build, adding sturdiness and everyday grip.

  1. Before wearing your shoes we suggest protecting the shoes from any dirt by applying 2 layers of protection spray.

  2. To keep the protection layer active, remove any dry dust and dirt with a soft shoe brush and apply another layer of protection spray every 1-2 weeks.

  3. If a brush is not sufficient, you can use a nubuck/suede cleaning block to clean your shoes dry.

  4. If cleaning dry is insufficient, you can use a Cleaning Foam or Cleaning Solution, suitable for shoes. Use a brush to loosen any dirt and wipe it off with a clean cloth.

  5. After cleaning a moist surface, the protection layer might be damaged. We advise boosting the humidity of the leather with a leather care product before applying new layers of protection spray again.

Walk a full day in the Peridot Asher Mid and you'll feel the difference under your foot. Between the footbed and the outsole, we built in a shock-absorbing midsole that softens the impact of every step. It gives this sturdy boot a surprisingly light, cushioned feel. Think of the suspension on a good bike: you still feel the road, but not the bumps. Together with the stitched sole edge and the zigzag tread, it makes this moc toe boot as comfortable on long city walks as it looks.

Tie up the Peridot Asher Mid and you'll notice right away that these aren't ordinary laces. We chose leather laces, a nod to the classic moc toe boots that working men laced up every morning. They run through four eyelets and finish in a knot at each end, a small detail that keeps them from slipping back through. We recommend lacing them loosely rather than pulling them tight. Too long for your taste? Simply trim them to the length you prefer. Like a good belt, they soften with every wear and slowly take on a character of their own.
